Credential Overview

The Registry develops professional credentials to meet the unique needs of the childhood care and education practitioners. Each professional credential is developed by a team of experts from Wisconsin and across the United States of America.

The decision to develop a credential is based on the demonstrated need of the early childhood professionals. A vast amount of research and work is involved in the planning and creation of a new credential.

To register for one of the scheduled Commissions listed below, students must complete and submit a Student Request for Commission form to The Registry office.  Forms are located on this page under “Credential Resources” and include instructions.  Students will then receive a confirmation letter with Commission details and further instructions.  Students will not be allowed to participate in a Commission unless they have submitted the Request for Commission form.
