    Why should I join?

    There is a place for all childhood care and education professionals on The Registry. This includes family providers, employees in group centers, staff in support organizations, and others. 
     
    • Receive tangible recognition of your professional achievements and contributions.
    • Highlight your professional qualities to parents, colleagues and other professionals .
    • Gain information to help define and attain your career goals.
    • Know that you have met licensing requirements.
    • Access stipend programs that use The Registry level for assessment.
    • Become an Approved Trainer through The Registry's Professional Development Approval System (PDAS).
    • Expand your personal network and join a growing professional community.
    • If you are a center director, administrator or teacher in a center, you are required to join by HFS 46.05(1)(g) of the Wisconsin Administrative code.
      Online Paper
      The member creates an online account. Registry staff create an account on the Member's behalf.
      The member completes online application in its entirety. The member sends in a completed paper application. Registry staff complete the online application on the member's behalf.
      The member sends in supporting documents. The member sends in supporting documents.
