New ECCE Bachelor's Degree Available Now!: August 3rd
A unique opportunity to continue your professional development is now available from UW-Whitewater. This new program is designed to help advance the career of early childhood professionals by providing a flexible and responsive pathway toward a degree. Rather than taking a prescribed list of classes set by and through one campus, students enrolled in Early Child Care and Education (ECCE) program have the power to make choices to steer them toward the degree they want. Additionally, students are helped to find the courses they need, in the format they need (face to face, online, hybrid), at the college or university they need.

Technical Difficulties: May 24th
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our fax line. Our technical support team is working diligently and will resolve this issue as soon as possible. Our phone lines and email remain unaffected.
If you tried sending a fax this week, we encourage you to scan these items and email them to us at email@example.com to ensure we have received them. This past November, the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) provided funding for free Registry membership and renewal. An email notification will be sent when the fax line is again working properly.
UPDATE: Our technical support team has resolved all issues and the fax line (608-222-9779) is now working properly. - May 30, 2018
Coupon has Ended: April 6th
This past November, the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) provided funding for free Registry membership and renewal. More than 6,500 individuals were able to take advantage of this coupon and become Registry members or renew existing accounts. All good things must come to an end and funding for this offer is complete.

The Registry Career Levels are now available in Spanish.

The Registry Career Levels Updated: February 5th
The Registry has updated the Career Levels. The new look features a color-code to help show the different pathways to each level. A new Career Levels web page is available and features a commentary that provides insight and information for each level.
The Registry has also added more pathways to recognize the many achievements of those in the early childhood and education field.

The Registry System Update: January 23rd
The Registry will launch a system update to increase security and improve navigation.
To protect your private information, The Registry will require all users to have a unique email address. You will be asked to sign in to your Registry account with your own personal email address and password. Some users may have to verify their email address.
The Registry system is also getting a face lift. The new look will feature enhanced menus and streamline your overall experience.

Official Transcripts Required: Beginning January 1st
Beginning on January 1, 2018, official transcripts will be required to verify degrees, credits, and/or CEUs. The Registry will only accept official transcripts from accredited colleges or universities. This requirement will prevent academic fraud and maintain the integrity of The Registry and its members.
Transcripts must be sent directly to The Registry in an unopened, originally sealed envelope or by secure email from the institution of higher education. Please note that some institutions will not provide an electronic version of an official transcript.
