4:00-4:30    Leave for the Ferry – it’s just a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the dock.

               

Enjoy the scenic 30 minute ride to Peak’s Island.

4:30 - ?        On Peak’s Island we’ll enjoy the traditional Maine lobster bake (steak, chicken, and a vegetarian option are also available). Dinner is included in your your conference registration. If you are bringing family members, additional tickets can be purchased. Enjoy the entertainment and the state to state competition for “fabulous prizes”.  Each state is asked to bring a door prize.

Entertainment by the Maine Squeeze

     The ferry returns to Portland every 30 minutes so you can leave when you’re tired or stay and enjoy the moonlight over the bay.  This first night celebration is always a favorite for conference attendees - there’s even a rumor that Elvis will be attending.
